Why I Coach

I’m David Scouten, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Division 1 Track & Field Academic All-American, and lifelong strength athlete.


My journey hasn’t been easy. I grew up in a challenging home, but fitness became my  outlet. When I tore my Achilles a few years ago and couldn’t walk, I still trained my upper body and hit my lifetime goal of a 405 lb bench press. I know what it means to fight through obstacles, stay consistent, and use fitness as a foundation for strength in every area of life.


Outside of my collegiate athletic journey—throwing the shot put, discus, and hammer—I also built a demanding professional career. I became a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and even worked as an FBI Forensic Accountant. Through it all, I stayed dedicated to training, proving that even with a full career, social life, and responsibilities, you can prioritize your health.


I bring that same mindset to my coaching: discipline, accountability, and a belief that fitness unlocks confidence, leadership, and fulfillment.
